Questions for Workout #1
How do you feel about the intensity of 1 minute? I liked the intensity of the one minute intervals because it pushes you to try and complete as many reps as possible in that one set.
Identify 1 exercise that you liked and explain. One exercise that I liked was the hamstring bridge because it helps strengthen the hamstring and glutes. This exercise also helps reduce knee and back pain which is something I experience.
Identify 1 exercise that you dislike and explain why. One exercise that I dislike is the chair dips because it is the exercise that I am the least good at, therefore not making me look forward to complete those reps.
Comment on your ability to fit a workout into your schedule each week? It was not too difficult to fit in a workout this week since it was the beginning of the semester and their wasn’t much assignment and work to complete for my courses. Even though I do have to attend school everyday, I do finish my courses earlier, making it easier to incorporate workout in the afternoons during the week.
Identify 3 exercise options that work the quadriceps, hamstrings and gluteals. Three exercises that target the quadriceps, hamstrings and gluteals are squats, lunges and burpees.
Identify 2 exercise options for the upper back and 2 exercise options for the chest. Two exercises that target the upper back are supermans and lat pulldowns. Two exercises that target the chest are barbell chest press and pushups.
Identify 3 exercise options for the shoulder/deltoid muscles. Three exercises that target the shoulder / deltoids muscles are shoulder press, front raise and the plank.
