Comment on the intensity of the workout? Were you able to do all 8 exercise without stopping? The workout was intense compared to the other workouts from the previous weeks because you had a number of reps you needed to complete. I was not able to do all 8 exercises without stopping, however with time I will be able to accomplish them without rest.

How does your exercise program fit into your weekly schedule? I am able to fit my exercise program into my week easily since I finish school earlier on most days, therefore giving me the opportunity to incorporate a workout in the afternoon.

What’s the point of doing a warm up? What constitutes a successful warm up? The point of doing a warm up before your workout is to help get your heart rate up and blood circulating. When I do my warmup, I try to get my heart rate to at least 120, which constitutes a successful workout.

Comment on any physical changes you have experienced since the beginning of this class? Since the beginning of the class I have seen my body getting stronger and being able to complete the sets easier than when I first started. This is due to incorporating at least 2 days a week to physical activity. Knowing that my body is getting stronger is encouraging me to continue working out.

Identify 4 health (disease prevention) benefits of regular participation in physical activity. Four health benefits of participating regularly in physical activity are, it prevents heart disease and strokes, lowers blood pressure and improves overall blood flow.

Identify 4 psychological benefits of regular participation in physical activity. Four psychological benefits of regular participation in physical activity are, lower stress levels, decreases depression and anxiety ( mood booster), increases self-esteem, and increased feelings of energy.

Identify 3 reasons why muscular conditioning is key to healthy body composition. Three reasons that muscular conditioning is key to a healthy body composition is that it help keep your body at a healthy body weight, helps burn calories, and keeps your bones and muscles healthier and stronger.

Identify 3 important exercises or stretches for posture development and/or improvement. Three important exercises and stretches for posture are Childs pose, cat cow, and high plank.
